I beg to differ with the letter writer who wrote in the Aug. 24 issue that clothing is irrelevant. I don’t need to give Scripture references either. Good common sense is all that is necessary to know what is appropriate for church. The “as-long-as-they-are-in-church” attitude doesn’t make sense. Teenagers are allowed to wear to church clothing that if they wore the same to school they would be sent home.
What schools allow short shorts or tops that don’t leave much to the imagination? Parents must sometimes wear blinders when it comes to what their teenagers are wearing to church.
