I do not agree with a recent letter you printed condoning and endorsing women preaching and teaching men. I back up my beliefs with a few of the Scriptures telling us that men are to be the leaders in the church.
1 Timothy 2:12: But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man. 1 Corinthians 11:3: But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the man, and the head of Christ is God. Titus 1:6: IF an elder be blameless and the husband of one wife.
A woman cannot be the husband of a wife.
From my study of the Bible and my convictions, I do not feel I can ever preach to men or teach them. I need only to teach other ladies or children in the church. This is not to say that there are not a lot of women who are fully capable of leading, preaching and teaching men. They are capable. But I don not believe that the Bible endorses this.
Men are to be the leaders in the church, according to the Scriptures.
