Clothing irrelevant

As for the clothes and the outward appearance described in the letter “A Christian’s Clothing” in the Aug. 3 issue, I’m glad that God accepts me for who I am on the inside and not what I’m wearing or what type of haircut I have. After all, He was crucified next to two thieves, and if I remember right, Jesus didn’t ask him if he would get a haircut before He would accept him into His Kingdom.

Please pray for me and the many parents and leaders out there who are on the forefront of this battle every day that no matter what a person looks like, they are all God’s creation and deserve a chance to experience His love and forgiveness. Check out Luke 18:10–14 and 1 Timothy 2:4.
