Cohabitation

Your article titled “Living Together” in the Aug. 8 issue of The Alabama Baptist was quite interesting. One question for you though: How can Southern Baptists’ sexual ethics ever rise to a higher level when preachers routinely marry teenagers with babies in their arms and those who have already been married and divorced? What message does that send to our young people? What message does that send to biblical singles who are waiting? Of course, since Baptist churches are autonomous, all of them could have a lesbian preacher and marry a transgender couple every week. It’s rather … humorous.
