NASHVILLE — Year-to-date contributions through the Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) Cooperative Program are up 0.21 percent compared to this same time frame in 2002, according to a news release from SBC Executive Committee.
As of May 31, the year-to-date total of $123,996,364.62 for Cooperative Program (CP) Missions is $259,570.77 ahead of the $123,736,793.85 received at this same point last year. For the month, receipts of $16,822,976.22 were 6.42 percent, or $1,154,368.25, below the $17,977,344.47 received in May 2002.
For the SBC Cooperative Program Allocation Budget, the year-to-date total of $123,996,364.62 is 105.1 percent of the $117,974,934.64 budgeted, or $6,021,429.98 more to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America.
