The ladies of Crossroad Baptist Church, Hueytown, in Mud Creek Baptist Association, hosted more than 100 girls from their community at the fourth annual Princess with a Purpose Party on Feb. 22. The young guests enjoyed themed table decorations, photos with their favorite princesses and dinner while learning how they are part of God’s royal plan. The church began the party as a winter community outreach effort, said Stephen Hess, associate/worship pastor.
