First Baptist Church, Eufaula, in Barbour Baptist Association had six people travel to southern Peru July 23–30 as part of a trip coordinated by the International Missions Board’s REAPSouth team. REAPSouth is a church-planting strategy among the unreached of South America. REAP stands for Rapid Entry Advance Plan.
Led by Minister of Education Russ Robbins, the team held Bible study, distributed Scripture and witnessed in Caraveli and Atico.
“The people of Peru are very hungry for spiritual guidance and [were] very receptive to our witness,” Robbins said.
