First Baptist Church Theodore celebrated its 125th anniversary Oct. 2 with former pastor Lonnie Byrd as guest speaker.
The church’s choir, along with several groups and individuals shared songs.
Lonette Berg of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission and Thomas Wright, executive director of missions for Mobile Baptist Association, presented certificates.
“Our purpose was to bring honor and glory to the Lord for all He has done through 125 years,” said Ellan Debrow. “We saw Him in every part of the planning and celebration.”
