First Church, Hartselle, new pastor Clayton K. Speed

Clayton K. Speed has been named the new pastor of First Church, Hartselle. His first day will be Aug. 16. He most recently served as associate pastor of First Church, Trussville. Speed earned a bachelor’s degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point in New York, and a master of divinity degree from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham. He is a doctor of ministry candidate at Beeson. He and his wife, Mary, have four children.
