Gratitude

Please allow me to use the avenue of The Alabama Baptist to express my deepest gratitude for the hundreds of cards, letters and calls of prayer and encouragement concerning my recent transplant postponement.

Ashley, the donor, and I were disappointed but not devastated. We are now confident that “our times are in His hands,” and though we don’t understand the delay, we are confident He is in control.

I am sure that the main reason His peace so pervades my heart is that so many have sincerely prayed on our behalf. It would be impossible to reply to each person individually so please accept this as a personal “thank you” for your gracious concern.

Continue to lift our name to the Father as we await further testing.
