University of Mobile alumni and friends are invited to participate in a weekend of activities planned for “Homecoming 2001,” Feb. 16–18, on the UM campus.
Activities begin Friday evening, Feb. 16, with a president’s reception for alumni, faculty and staff. Afterward, alumni are invited to a pep rally and bonfire. Saturday’s events include the annual alumni softball game in the afternoon.
The Alumni and Friends Barbecue will be held 3–5 p.m., followed by Rams basketball in Pharr Gym. The women’s team will take on the Dillard University Blue Devils at 5:30 p.m., with the men’s team following at 7:30 p.m. The 2001 homecoming queen and her court will be announced during halftime at the men’s game.
Activities continue Feb. 18, with a chapel service at 8:30 a.m. in Lyon Chapel on the UM campus, followed by brunch.
