Hopewell Baptist Church, Marion, will celebrate its 197th homecoming April 21. Worship will begin at 10:30 a.m. and will include special music and a brief presentation of the church’s history. Joe Bob Mizzell, who served as pastor of Hopewell Baptist for almost 15 years, is the guest speaker. George Washburn is interim pastor.
