Thank you for your prayers for us. We are learning the language although more slowly than we would like.
Rich and I have each made friends here whom we meet each day to help us with the language. Please pray for the people here.
They are very religious, praying several times a day and reading their holy book (the Koran) at work and on the subway.
Many times we get in a taxi and hear their book being read on the radio or awake to hear it being read over the loudspeaker from the mosque.
Please pray that in their earnest search for truth, they might find the One who is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
Praise, in that we were able to visit in the home of Rich’s friend and sustain a three-hour conversation about many topics. This family has been open to our friendship.
Pray that our health will improve, especially related to some back problems which have surfaced once again.
