The articles about “In God We Trust” and “Under God” in the Feb. 12 issue hit a raw nerve of mine. There is more each of us can do than just talk. Unbelieving and unpatriotic people are trying to remove posters in public buildings that include those words. They also want to change future issues of stamps and money.
We need to fight back now. I urge all to join me in a simple way. On the back of every envelope I mail, I write “In God We Trust.”
Opponents may pressure our courts to make changes. They can’t stop our efforts to show we mean business. We can have a powerful unified effect that costs nothing and takes only a few moments. Let’s do it.
