Inspired to write

I am glad that my church, Anniston First Baptist at McClellan, provides The Alabama Baptist to the members who request it. 

It has been a source of information and inspiration to me. One such article that struck a chord was a July 21, 2011, article titled “Unique form of disaster relief comes in grape, green apple.” 

In the article was a statement about a small girl from Chalybeate Springs in Lawrence County clutching a tattered teddy rescued from the rubble left by the tornado that had hit that area.

That statement inspired me to write a small book titled “The Tattered Teddy” to be used by anyone who would be ministering to children in the aftermath of a tornado. The book includes crafts to be used with the children. The book is in PDF format and is free to anyone who can use it. It can be downloaded from my new website, www.saltydiamonds.com.
