‘Jam-packed’ paper

‘Jam-packed’ paper

Our congratulations and thanks for the outstanding edition of The Alabama Baptist dated Jan. 14. It was “jam-packed” with interesting and valuable information. The eye-catching story about the snow by the First Baptist Church, Opelika, youth pastor and the heart-warming story about the former abortion clinic director grabbed our attention and we just couldn’t put the newspaper down. Your editorial on religious liberty hit at the heart of our current frustration and disappointments in our governmental decisions. You may have planned it, but the information throughout the paper assisted in our Bible study of Wrestling With Injustices found in Ecclesiastes chapters 3–9.

I did encourage our Count for Christ Bible study class members to take the time to read the newspaper mentioned. The information about wills, etc., was of interest to them also.

I am pleased to pass this compliment on to you and your staff and look forward to future editions.
