The University of Mobile (UM) is calling for entries of original artwork from artists in seven Southern states — Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee or Texas — for the UM Juried Art Exhibition.
The competition is open to visual artists working in any media, and only original artwork is accepted. Deadline for entries is Feb. 6.
Entry form and rules is available at www.umobile.edu/art. All works must be original and completed during 2007 or 2008.
The show will be open to the public May 3–30 at Thomas T. Martin Hall on the UM campus. A reception will be held May 3 from 2–5 p.m.
