Kelly Willard, a veteran of the praise and worship circuit for more than 30 years, returns with “Paga’” (Hebrew for “intercession”) — her first release in 16 years. “Paga’” is a fairly straightforward 12-song album stylistically reminiscent of Twila Paris and similar contemporary Christian music stalwarts from the 1990s, but with occasional Celtic strains.
Track three, “Beautiful Jesus,” is undoubtedly a highlight. The song is a duet recorded with her daughter, Haylie, before her untimely death in 2004. This CD is recommended for any fans of easy-listening praise and worship.
