Kevin Blackwell scholarship for MTI endowed at Samford

The new Kevin Blackwell Annual and Endowed Scholarship for the Ministry Training Institute (MTI) at Samford University in Birmingham was announced April 8 in a gathering on campus.

The scholarship will help students participate in MTI classes offered for church leaders.

“It’s not a job, it’s a passion,” Blackwell said. These ministers are on the “front line equipping and training.”
