BETHEL
Linden Baptist Church will hold a retirement celebration for Pastor Billy Harris on Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. There will be a special service followed by a covered-dish luncheon and time of sharing and fellowship. Harris has served at Linden Baptist three separate times: first as minister of music and youth in the 1970s, then as pastor from 2002 to 2006. Harris then returned to Linden more than four years ago to serve again as pastor. He also served as a state missionary for the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions.
