Miller assumes lead advertising role at Baptist

Sue Ann Miller has assumed the role of director of advertising for The Alabama Baptist (TAB).

Miller, a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Homewood, received a degree in journalism in 1981 from Auburn University.

She has been on staff at TAB since July 2000 during which time she served as a news writer and assistant editor to Managing Editor Jennifer Davis Rash.

Miller fills the position left vacant by Vicki Foster, who has pursued other employment. As director of advertising, Miller will utilize skills gained during her extensive career in the public relations and marketing field.

Prior to coming to The Alabama Baptist Miller managed her own public relations and marketing company that catered to health care clients and specialized in community health and wellness fairs.

Her 20-year business experience includes serving as director of marketing and public relations at numerous hospitals and health care companies in the Birmingham area.

Editor Bob Terry said he is pleased that Miller is taking over the responsibilities of the advertising department. “We’re looking forward to the contributions that Sue Ann’s experience and knowledge will bring to the advertising department of the paper,” Terry said.

Miller can be reached at 205-870-4720, Ext. 107 or 1-800-803-5201.

Advertising information is available on the paper’s Web site at www.thealabamabaptist.org. (TAB)
