Ministry Tip — Forming Friendships

Let’s face it, pastors can be competitive with one another regarding the growth and size of his ministry.

Our personal walk with the Lord is far more important than how many we are running in Sunday School.

When meeting with other pastors, do not be so consumed with probing questions about the success of their ministry that you fail to give attention to the pastor as a person. Seek to form friendships.

Be relational and ask how they are doing, ask how the family is doing, and most importantly, ask, “How may I encourage and pray for you as a fellow pastor?”
