Need better sermons

In response to the article “Postmodern preachers” in the Nov. 11 issue I would like to make some observations. Maybe the reason we have a culture that thinks the sermon or the church is irrelevant is because we haven’t been doing expositional sermons.

I believe we’ll reach the postmodern generation with more and better biblical expositions. Paul, in 1 Cor. 1:21 says, “For since, in the wisdom of God the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.”

I cannot believe we are to reach a lost generation through foolishness of dancing or art. God’s plan is a good plan and He will always be calling preachers, not dancers.
