One highlight of the partnership shared by several church leaders resulted in a choir tour by New Hope Baptist Church, Birmingham.
The Choir traveled around Spain performing concerts, but the Host Baptist churches were not large enough to hold the crowds that attended.
So, in each city one of the larger Catholic churches was approached about holding the concert. And in each case, the priest agreed.
The choir, which presented the gospel at every concert, garnered media attention and packed crowds at each location.
The Catholic community was awestruck, according to Baptist leaders across the country.
