Number of births

After reading Bob Terry’s editorial in the Aug. 6 issue concerning personal salvation and the Episcopal Church, I remembered a mailing I received once from the local Episcopalian church. On the front of the flier was a statement in bold letters, “We welcome you, and we don’t care how many times you’ve been born.”

I was astonished. I believe Presiding Bishop Jefferts Schori will find that in the end, she should have counted the times she was born.
