Old Howard bike ride set for April 19

The fourth annual Old Howard 100 Bike Ride, sponsored by Samford University’s Howard College of Arts and Sciences, will take place April 19.

Cyclists will depart at 9 a.m. from the campus of Judson College in Marion and bike up to 100 miles through Alabama’s Black Belt.

All proceeds from the ride will go toward Sowing Seeds of Hope in Perry County. The purpose of the partnership is to improve the quality of life and work in Perry County through improved educational opportunities, health care and economic development.
