Union Grove Baptist Church, Opelika, in Tuskegee-Lee Baptist Association holds CPR training April 14 in order to certify or re-certify nursery workers and disaster relief workers. Nick Ray, a nurse and paramedic who also serves as worship leader at Union Grove Baptist, led the training. ‘We just feel that it is very important for our nursery workers to know what to do in the case of an emergency with one of our children,’ he said. ‘This is something that we will continue to do.’ Russell DeLee is pastor.
