Preaching salvation

Preaching salvation

I read with great concern the letters in the Dec. 9 edition of The Alabama Baptist. There is a remedy for these concerned Christians. There is a Web site www.founders.org that lists the Reformed Theology Baptist churches in Alabama.

For those who desire to hear doctrinal sermons like Spurgeon, Knox, Luther, Whitfield and other reformed preachers they can find a church family that preaches and teaches the same doctrines concerning salvation, heaven, hell and sin. However, a person must be willing to leave tradition behind and seek the higher things of God.

The modern “feel good” sermon has reduced salvation to man’s choice and that God is love with no mention of Him being a just God, therefore no one will spend eternity in hell.

I am a reformed theology preacher, and I pastor Southridge Community Church in Duncanville. We are a Southern Baptist Church. I teach and preach the doctrine of grace because God is sovereign and absolute, therefore, His grace has not and will not change.
