Professor Writes Sports Injury Book

University of Mobile (UMobile) professor William Carroll is the author of the recently published book “The Carroll Guide to Sports Injury.” The guide is designed for coaches, athletes and parents to prevent and provide first-response aid for sports injuries. In the book, Carroll discusses common injuries, including signs, symptoms and immediate care.

Carroll is a professor of human performance and exercise science as well as director of athletic training education program at UMobile. He has served as a consultant and athletic trainer for the French Olympic Development Team and as head athletic trainer for the World Hockey Association and the European Hockey League. He also worked with the 2008 Chinese Olympic delegation. His book is available through Amazon.com.
