Psychology Professor Retires

Longtime psychology professor Jack Fowler will retire at the end of the summer after 44 years at Judson College.

During his time at Judson he won both of the teaching awards for classroom excellence twice.

Fowler, a native of Panola, earned his bachelor’s degree in secondary education at Livingston State Teacher’s College, now the University of West Alabama. Fowler earned his master’s degree and his doctorate in educational psychology and counseling at the University of Alabama.

He and his wife, Maxine, are members of Siloam Baptist Church, Marion. He has also served as deacon, on various church committees and in the sanctuary choir.
