Questioning intent

In the April 17 issue there was an article that disturbed me. It was your top story — “Excuse me? Certain tactics can make sure guests never come back to church” — on how to make people feel unwelcome at church.

I know that it was probably written to give people helpful hints on how to get more visitors, but it was not taken that way, and I surely hope that it was not meant to keep people out of church.

I feel that most people will take it as I did, that it was rude and obnoxious, and I feel that it should be written again with clarity.
