Q: How did you come to know the Lord?
A: I was always taken to church and Sunday School. During a revival — I was about 11 — I had a sense of knowing I needed to do something. I felt the Lord leading me to become His child.
Q: What led you to teach Sunday School?
A: I taught eight years in Albertville, Ala., before I came here (First, Russellville). My first class was a young couples class. I started out in Woman’s Missionary Union work … and I just felt the need when they asked me [to teach Sunday School] to try it. And I’ve been teaching ever since.
Q: What difference has Christ made in your life?
A: He’s made all the difference that can be made.
Q: How do you see yourself involved in teaching Sunday School in the future?
A: As long as the Lord gives me strength to get there, I’ll try.
Q: Why have you continued serving in this ministry through the years?
A: It’s been a joy to serve — my joy.
