Derek Allen is the new executive pastor of Smoke Rise Church, Warrior. He has served churches in the Gadsden area. Allen holds a master of divinity from New Orleans Seminary and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree from Southern Seminary in Louisville, Ky. He and his wife, Lindsay, have one child. Toby J. Shedd is pastor.
