Sole Authority

I am writing to express my appreciation to you for your editorial titled “The Bible — Our Sole Authority.” I agree with you, the Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice, and it must be believed and obeyed in all it sets forth. This is and has been the position of Southern Baptists. It is my prayer that we will always hold to this position.

I am excited about the future of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Alabama Baptist State Convention. God will bless those who believe and obey His word. May we always be faithful to the word of God.

Thanks for one of the greatest editorials I have ever read.
