The 2002 World Changers projects in Alabama, North Carolina and Georgia took place as a partnership between the state convention, the North American Mission and HouseCalls International. HouseCalls managed the logistics of the projects.
Butch Henderson, congregation consultant with Birmingham Baptist Association (BBA), said the association plans to continue partnering with HouseCalls to perform year-round construction projects in Alabama.
Associations seeking to upgrade housing in their area can call the BBA at 205-251-7161. BBA will work with HouseCalls to recruit volunteers and find materials.
