When we, as God’s people, decided to take our stand to expose the immoral effects of the lottery/gambling issue in our society, it helped open the minds and hearts of people: both saved and unsaved. It allowed us to hear what God says about this issue and how it affects people, not only individually but also as a society. In addition, when God’s people boldly resounded, “Thus saith the Lord” throughout the pulpits and from the streets, many hearts were confronted … the truth made them free (John 8:31-31). All the glory goes to God, our Heavenly Father.
There are many other issues in our society, which need to be exposed for the sake of Christ that souls might come to the saving knowledge of Him. The only one that has really been escalating throughout the south, especially the “Bible Belt” in this new millennium is the issue of racism. We know that God created all of mankind after His image and that He is love. Do we have any resolutions about evangelizing racist groups in our communities as well as racist individuals whom are within the church itself?
