Ten Commandments

Ten Commandments

I am responding to the letter to the editor on the Ten Commandments by Chad Steenerson of Birmingham.

He seems to think it would be wrong to display the Ten Commandments in public buildings and that it would be better not to cram religion down people’s throats.

It has been this kind of thinking that has caused America to fall from God’s grace. We should display the Ten Commandments, Holy Bible and ourselves as Christian examples to the public anytime and anywhere.

Whether people like it or not, we as Christians are to be a “light in the darkness.”

People often hated Jesus in public for His stand against wrong and His teachings on righteousness. If we are to mold ourselves in the likeness of Christ, then we will find many people who will hate us for our stand on Christian principles.

Jesus said, “The truth will set us free.”
