Thank you for cards

This is to thank the wonderful people who helped with the Christmas cards for Limestone Correctional Facility. 

There were cards from individuals, small groups and churches. 

Some sent only one Christmas card. Some came in boxes of 100 or more. Some were handmade by children. All were beautiful. All 5,000-plus were appreciated.

Pushpins were put on an Alabama map to mark the post offices where cards were mailed. There was a good scattering from all over the state.

A note was received from one of the staff at Limestone who said he was not aware that so many people cared about that population. 

All I could say was that Jesus cares and we do, too.
