Q: What can you share about your personal testimony?
A: It has always been a matter of Christ being in my life. I just don’t remember a time I wasn’t active [in church]. I joined the [Baptist] church in my hometown at about 11 years old in Blountstown, Fla.

Q: What can you tell us about the First, Dothan, Media Library?
A: We have an active children’s reading program. We’ve done everything we can to promote reading.

Q: What led you to serve as a volunteer for the library?
A: I think they needed help in the library, someone with a library background. When I first came to First Baptist, they asked me to work there. It’s been my blessing to work with so many wonderful people.

Q: How do you see yourself involved in the future of the library?
A: I’ll help her (the new director) and get her trained. She has some good people working in the library to help her.
