Emily Tillman has known for years that God was calling her to be a campus minister, and “what better place to begin that journey than Alabama?”
Tillman has been hired by the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions as an associate campus minister for the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College in Mobile effective June 1.
She holds a master of arts in Christian education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and most recently served as administrative assistant at the Youth Ministry Institute of New Orleans Seminary.
“I am excited about the opportunity to help students live out their calling throughout their college career and beyond, and I am looking forward to sharing the gospel on campus and in the vast missions field of Mobile,” she said.
