Today’s Freedom

Today’s Freedom

Our country, having just entered its 225th year of independence, does so at a time more perilous to the freedom of men than perhaps any other in our existence since the times of Revere, Washington, Jefferson, Jay, Henry and others.

The American Creed (Declaration of Independence) says we are endowed by the Creator with the inalienable rights to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. However, like a nation drunk with prosperity, we sit apathetically as the very moral pillars of our society are attacked and uprooted.

It is no shock there was no major outcry over the Supreme Court’s decision upholding the brutal infanticide of partial-birth abortion. We have twice elected a president and vice president who defend the killing of innocent babies in or out of the womb. With 40 million legal abortions since 1973, the Creator must look at America as a hypocrite when we condemn Hitler, Stalin and other mass murderers of “His handiwork.”

While the “good times roll,” we face national security threats as a result of illegal campaign gifts, transfers of sensitive technology and globalist agreements that compromise our sovereignty. But  our greatest challenge is from within. For as God removed His protection from Israel, He will do the same here if we continue to ignore His directions.
