The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, is hosting the second annual Trunk or Treat on Oct. 30 from 5 until 7:30 p.m. With more than 70 cars decorated last year, the church plans to surpass that number this year.
A quarter of a million pieces of candy were distributed to more than 3,000 people last year. This year, the church aims to surpass 5,000 people.“We want to show our community generous hospitality, provide them with a safe place to trick or treat, and give them the opportunity to meet the people of our faith family in a fun environment,” said Phyliss Wright, associate children’s minister.
