Turn cell phones off

Turn cell phones off

A new trend has developed in very recent years within the church services in more than a few churches. Cell phones, it seems, have become so important in people’s lives that many are compelled to bring them to church and allow them to ring during Sunday School services, the pastor’s sermon and during fellowships. It wasn’t very long ago that we could actually complete a service without the distraction of a ringing phone. How did we ever manage to get by?

Unless there is an impending emergency looming, is there any phone call so important that it must interrupt the Holy Spirit?

Please don’t take offense, but please leave cell phones in the car or at home so you don’t impose on someone else’s worship.
