Russell Dean is the new associational mission strategist for Tuskegee Lee Baptist Association.
Dean grew up in Jackson and served as a high school football and baseball coach for seven years at Jackson High School. He graduated from Auburn University with a bachelor of arts degree in mass communications and a bachelor of science degree in speech education. He earned a master’s from the University of South Alabama and a master’s from New Orleans Seminary. He served at Midway Baptist Church, Thomasville; First Baptist Church Lanett; Excel Baptist Church; and FBC Lake Charles, Louisiana, before becoming general manager of Faith Broadcasting where he served for 18 years.
He and his wife, Amy, have three grown children and seven grandchildren.
