The University of Mobile (UM) has announced the appointment of deans for three academic areas:
Jane Finley, school of business; Richard McElhaney, school of nursing; and Pam Buchanan, center for adult programs.
Finley joined UM in 1997 as associate professor in the school of business and has served as director of institutional research and interim dean. McElhaney joined UM in 2006 as assistant professor of nursing and in 2007 was named chair of the associate degree in nursing program. Buchanan joined UM in 1993. She has served as director of student services for the center for adult programs since 1999 and as assistant professor since 2000.
