‘Veggie Tales’ to hit the big screen again

LOMBARD, ILL. — Just two months after the successful release of the first “Veggie Tales” movie, the companies involved in its production have announced plans for a second feature film.

“The Bob and Larry Movie” is slated for 2005, announced Big Idea Productions and Artisan’s FHE Pictures.

The second film will focus on the characters Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber but will include other animated characters and — for the first time — humans in a “Veggie Tales” story. Officials of the two companies announced their plans Nov. 26.
