More than 400 people made the journey to Eastaboga Baptist Church on Nov. 7 to mark its 175th anniversary.
The anniversary service included a message from Rick Lance, executive director of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions, and a plaque presentation by a representative of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission.
Youth Pastor Mike Snyder said he hopes the Coosa River Association church would continue to keep Christ as the head of the church.
“We hope that Jesus will lead this ministry … until He returns,” he said.
