“When our generation gets frustrated about politics and faith, we shoot somebody. We don’t know how to actually have a free exchange of ideas (and) that’s a problem,” said college freshman Brilyn Hollyhand, advocating for civil discourse.

“Ryan Whitley knows, believes and stands for the values and convictions of Alabama Baptists,” says Daven Watkins, pastor of FBC Pelham, who plans to nominate Whitley as state convention 1st vice president at the annual meeting in November.
