A bill making its way through the Alabama Legislature would make it unlawful for members of the clergy to engage in sexual activity with anyone under the age of 19, a standard already in place for public and private school teachers.
Caring Well Sunday, Sept. 24, is on the SBC Calendar this year for the first time, giving churches an opportunity to acknowledge the emotional toll of sexual abuse and commit to ensuring congregations are safe places.
