Nabil Habashi Salama, a 62-year-old Egyptian Coptic Christian, has been executed by Islamic terrorists in north Sinai.
Salama was kidnapped five months ago in front of his home, Christianity Today reported.
A video was released on April 18 showing Salama’s execution, which comes as Egypt moves to legalize hundreds of churches.
Egypt is No. 16 on Open Doors’ 2021 World Watch List of countries where it is most difficult to be a Christian.
